What We Believe

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.  He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God.

Genesis 1:1,26, 27, 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Cor. 13:14, 1 John 5:6-8

Jesus was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.

Matt. 1:22, 23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5, 14:10-30 Hebrews 4:14-15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Timothy 6:14-1

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit for today.

1 Cor. 12, 2:12, 3:16,17, Acts 1:8, Gal. 5:25, John 16:7-13, 14:16-17, Eph. 1:13, 5:18

We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.

John 3:16, Rom. 8:9,10,13;  Acts 4:12, Titus 2:13

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a participation in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, in which our old selves have been crucified, we have been freed from the shackles of the past and given new life through his resurrection. We baptize by immersion.

1 Peter 3:21, Gal 3:26, Acts 2:38

We believe that Jesus not only bore our sins but also our sickness and diseases on the cross. We believe in divine healing through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ

Matt. 4:23, Matt 9:35, Is 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24
